Heartbreak feels hollow in the face of love and healing. A memory of an emotion that no longer haunts me. A distant relative of pain that was felt and half-forgotten.

My scarred heart healed with true love’s kiss. True devotion and trust, unbroken and unconditional. Someone loves me with their honest heart. Your visage is blurry around the corners of my mind. Your voice an echo of the past and your gentle kiss a whisper like a ghost. I’ve all but erased you.
